As the only accredited four-year bachelor's degree auto restoration program in the United States, McPherson College offers students the chance to pursue their love of cars while achieving a liberal arts degree. After graduation, many of our students have gone on to successfully open their own shops, manage private collections or work in other auto-related businesses.
McPherson College is a liberal arts college located in McPherson, Kan., that offers majors in more than 20 academic disciplines. Chartered in 1887 by leaders of the Church of the Brethren, McPherson College has a rich tradition of providing career-oriented education that shapes leaders, creative thinkers and entrepreneurs of the future.
Celebrating McPherson College is a family tradition for Harry and Myron Stine. Harry, a 1963 graduate, is president and founder of Stine Seed Company and a significant benefactor to McPherson. Myron Stine, a 1994 graduate, has been a member of the school’s Board of Trustees since July 2009.
As a car enthusiast himself, Myron is one of the Auto Restoration Program’s biggest advocates. He created this event for McPherson alumni in Iowa to pay tribute to the program’s success and to encourage young people considering auto restoration as a career to learn more about McPherson’s advantages.
Myron is resident of Dallas Center, Iowa, and is the vice president of sales and marketing at Stine Seed Company.
